At Forbes School
we try to meet each child
at his or her reading level. |
Each child should have a "just right" book on hand at all times for pleasure reading. That book should be at a level comfortable enough for the child to read independently. It should not be so easy that there is no effort in reading it, but it should not be so challenging that meaning is lost while laboring over word decoding.
