SCHOOL HOURS

 

Regular School Day

 

Opening Bell:                8:15 AM

School Begins:               8:20 AM

 

Kindergarten AM             8:20 AM  -  11:15 AM

Kindergarten PM           12:00  PM  -    2:50 PM

Grades 1 – 5                   8:20 AM  -    2:50 PM

*Students (walkers) may not arrive before 8:15 AM

 

One-Session Day (Half Day)

 

Kindergarten AM             8:20 AM  -   10:40 AM

Kindergarten PM           10:40 AM  -  12:50 PM

Grades 1 – 5                   8:20 AM  -  12:50 PM

 

Early Dismissal

 

Kindergarten AM             8:20 AM  -   11:15 AM

Delayed Opening (Due to inclement weather)

90 minute delay                                                   2 hour delay

(Bus will arrive at your child’s bus stop 90 minutes or 2 hours later than usual according to the delay)

EARLY DISMISSAL & LATE OPENING TIMES!

 

Early Closing time of dismissal will always be 12:45 PM.

Morning Kindergarten will be dismissed at their regular time.

There is no afternoon kindergarten when there is an early dismissal due to weather conditions.

 

A 90 Minute delay means:  The students start school 90 minutes later.

School starts, for grades KAM – grade 5, at 9:45.

KAM will be dismissed at their regular time.

KPM starts at their regular time.

 

BUSSING:

 

For early dismissal, please allow for delays.  The safety of your child comes first, please be patient, but if you are concerned that it is taking too long for your child to arrive home, the bus company’s number is 496-8532.  The school does not have information concerning this.

 

For a 90 minutes delay:  your child’s bus should arrive 90 minutes later than normal pick-up time.

 

Absences
Please be sure to telephone the school office (489-2311) between the hours of 8:20-9:05 a.m. to report all absences.  Every effort will be made to contact parents (even at place of employment) if no information regarding the child's absence has been received from the parent
