WELCOME TO TORRINGFORD SCHOOL VISUAL ARTS PAGE ! |
| |
| The students of Torringford School enter the art room once a week for an absorbing art experience. They revel in a variety of art forms, including, fiber art, weaving, sculpture, ceramics, painting and printmaking. Art is especially exciting here at Torringford because, through art, students not only learn about art history, elements and principles of design and aesthetics, they also expand their knowledge of core subjects, such as math, language arts and science. |

THE ART TEACHERS |

|
There are two art teachers here at Torringford School. Ms. Miele teaches interdisciplinary art, while Mrs. Wall teaches grades K through 5. |
| |
| My name is Mrs. Sandy Wall and I am the full time art teacher. This is my sixth year in the Torrington School District, and I am enjoying it very much. Prior to my position here, I taught the 4th and 5th grade students of Johnson School in Bethel Connecticut. I received my B.A. in Art Education from Central Connecticut State University and have 40 credits beyond in various child and art related areas. |
