The mission of the Torrington High School Library Media Center is to provide all members of the Torrington High School community with the resources needed to succeed in all curricular areas and with the information literacy skills to become lifelong learners.
The THS LMC assists all students in meeting academic, civic and social expectations as stated in the THS Mission Statement. Areas of emphasis are:
Effective use information and technology skills
Reading and comprehension skills
Demonstration of responsibility and accountability
