For those of you who are new to us, we are a comprehensive K-5 elementary school seriously educating 450 students. Throughout the year we focus on integrating reading, writing and vocabulary into every lesson. How nice to have a break from all of our hard work! The lazy days of summer are prime opportunities to read, try new hobbies, hike in local parks, discover the local library and attend city events. We are proud of our students and of our school. Two years in a row we have been recognized by ConnCAN for outstanding achievement. We look forward to the return of our students and to our 2010-2011 school year. In the meantime, I encourage parents and students to enjoy these lovely free days.
