Ken Traub - Mr. Traub is a life-long resident of Torrington being elected to the Torrington Board of Education in November, 2009 and Chairman in December, 2011. He attended Torringford School in Kindergarten and transfered to St. Francis of Assisi School for grades 1 - 6. He then attended Vogel-Wetmore Junior High School for grades 7 -8 and later went on to Torrington High School for grades 9 - 12. He graduated from CCSU with a Bachelors of Science and Civil Engineering and a Masters of Science in Organizational Management. He is currently owner and president of Hemlock Directional Boring, Inc. of Torrington. He resides in Torrington with his wife Wendy and their children.

Fiona Cappabianca - Mrs. Cappabianca serves on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation CT/Western Mass Chapter. She is currently Vice President of the Chapter. She is also past president of Forbes School PTO, in which she served for more than 10 years and past President of the PTOC which is a district wide council of all PTO's in Torrington. She is Chair and Co-Chair to a couple of other organizations in the Litchfield area. She is currently employed at Pension Consultants, Inc. She resides in Torrington with her husband Steven and their three children who all attend Torrington Public Schools.

Ellen Hoehne - Mrs. Hoehne was elected to the Board in November, 2009. She attended Torrington Public Elementary schools and Torrington High School and is currently employed as a Business Office Associate and Accounts Payable Specialist at Renbrook School in West Hartford. She and her husband, Michael, along with her two children and four grandchildren all reside in Torrington.

Paul Cavagnero - Mr. Cavagnero is a life-long resident of Torrington, having attended St. Peter's School and Torrington High School. He graduated from Amherst College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Cavagnero spent most of his professional life in Los Angeles working in film post-production. He currently works as Assoc. Manager of Digital Media/Content Operations for ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. Mr. Cavagnero was elected to the Board of Education in November, 2003 and served as Chairman from January, 2005 thru September, 2009. He now serves as Chairman of the School Improvement & Community Relations Committee and is also a member of the Policy and Negotiations (Administrators) Committees. Mr. Cavagnero has two children who have attended Torrington Public Schools.

Andrew Nargi - Mr. Nargi was elected to the Board of Education in November, 2007 and again in November, 2011. He serves on the Policy , School Improvement & Community Relations Committee and Negotiations (Custodians, Cafeteria, IA's, Secretaries, Nurses) Committee. He has previously served on Budget Committee, Community Relations and Administrator Negotiations Committees. Mr. Nargi is a graduate of Fordham College and Pepperdine University of Law. Mr. Nargi is a licensed attorney and real estate investor.

Karl L. Brady, Jr. – Mr. Brady was appointed in August 2012 to fill the remainder of David Oliver’s term. He attended public elementary, middle and high schools in North Carolina and Virginia. Mr. Brady holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Wake Forest University. He is currently the District Executive for the Northwest Hills District, Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America. He has worked in the United States House of Representatives, the United States Senate, and the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Mr. Brady also completed a School Board Fellowship in 2009 with the Center for Reform of School Systems. In his free time, he serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Hartford Knights Youth Organization and enjoys playing slow-pitch softball.

Daniel Thibault- Mr. Thibault is a life-long resident of Torrington. He was educated at East School for Kindergarten through 5th. He then attended Vogel-Wetmore Middle-School for 6th. Mr. Thibault transferred to St. Francis of Assisi School for grades 7 & 8 and is a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical School in Torrington. He went on to manage a computer company designing, installing and maintaining both LAN's & WAN's for schools and corporations in Litchfield County. During this time he took business classes at UCONN and went for his MCSE in Windows 2000 & 2000 Server. He was hired to handle Xerox Direct sales in the Litchfield and Hartford County areas. This included providing full analyst services and cost-to-value proposition breakdowns for Government Agencies and Board of Educations. He headed up Government, Education and Medical sales for Kyocera Mita America Direct in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Mr. Thibault enjoys competitive ballroom dancing in his free time.

Vincent Merola - Mr. Merola was born in Torrington and attended both Forbes Elementary School and St. Francis School. He is currently finishing up his political science undergraduate at the University of Hartford. An avid supporter of public service and volunteerism, Mr. Merola has spent the past tow years volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician. He has also served as Treasurer to his homeowners association for the past six years. He is a board member to the Northwest Connecticut Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. He has also served as chapter representative to the Connecticut Young Democrats. In 2009, he was elected to the Board of Selectmen for the city of Torrington. In 2010, he was sworn in as a Justice of the Peace for the state of Connecticut. Mr. Merola has been appointed to the Policy, Negotiations and Grievance committees for the Torrington Board of Education.

Christopher L. Rovero - Mr. Rovero was born and raised in Torrington, where he currently resides. His primary and secondary education occurred exclusively in the Torrington Public Schools. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, in classics and religious studies from Saint Michael’s College and his J.D., public interest law concentration, from Western New England University School of Law. Currently, Mr. Rovero is employed as an attorney at the Torrington law firm of Michael F. Magistrali & Associates, where he focuses his practice in Social Security Disability law. Prior to that, he held positions in legislative research and municipal government. Mr. Rovero was elected to the BOE in 2011 for a two-year period to complete the full term of the late Susan F. Cogswell. His committee assignments for that period include: budget, personnel, grievance, and non-certified staff negotiations.In addition to serving on the Torrington Board of Education, Mr. Rovero sits on the Board of Directors for E.X.T.R.A.S., a non-profit organization committed to enhancing educational opportunities for children of working families. He is also a member of the Torrington Republican Town Committee and Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Organization. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and international travel.

John Kissko - Mr. Kissko was born in Torrington and educated in Torrington Public Schools .He earned BA and MA degrees from the University of Connectricut in Storrs and did further work at the University of Scranton and Southern Connecticut State University. He taught history and economics at Litchfield High School for 36 years and has also served on the adjunct faculities of the University of Connecticut and Naugatuck Valley Community College. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2011. He is a widower with four sons, four daughters-in-law , seven grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two of the granchildren and one of the great-grandchildren attend Torrington Public Schools. He enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
