The Torrington Community
Torrington is located 28 miles from Hartford, Connecticut, 90 miles from New York City, and 120 miles from Boston. It is the industrial, commercial and financial hub of Northwest Connecticut. Torrington is the largest city in Litchfield County. It has one Industrial Park located close to Route 8 with another under construction.

The Historic Warner Theater, located downtown, hosts a number of state and nationally recognized performances. Additionally, a week-long Torrington Arts Festival attracts craftspeople, art enthusiasts, and musicians from northwest Connecticut and surrounding towns.

The Torrington area is an ideal vacation location combining easy access to swimming, boating, fishing, hiking and skiing facilities with the added attraction of the city's shopping facilities.
