It is the vision of the HR Department for Torrington Public Schools to ensure that each school has the highest quality of staff to support a culturally responsive learning environment for each and every student in order to provide them with a strong foundation to be productive citizens and critical thinkers in the 21st century.

We will achieve our vision by meeting the needs of all employees and following the full life cycle of each employee which includes: Recruitment, selection, onboarding, training & development, performance management, retention, succession planning and exiting.
